Who We Are

Passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) initiated a great deal of expectation among the health care, disability, provider, aging, and low-income communities. ACA creates a plan that can reduce the growing uninsured population of Michigan, initiate the challenges that families across Michigan face in finding affordable health insurance, and offer more acceccible options for employees’ health insurance.

ACA implementation moves forward, and Michigan will play a critical role in the success of the law, in fact the state has already begun implementing some measures that went into effect in 2010 and those coming up in 2014.

The Michigan Consumers for Healthcare (MCH) coalition aims at providing a strategic consumer voice to achieve both immediate and long term results.
