The legislative session kicked off on January 9th with Representative Dian Slavend (D-21) introducing House Bill 4004, which if passed, would create an fund and a specialty license plate supporting Early On Childhood Development.  “Early Onassists families with infants and toddlers, from birth until 36 months or 3 years of age, who have a delay in their development or a diagnosed disability.”

MCH will keep you informed on the progress of this legislation. Currently, it has been referred to the Transportation Committee.
